Modernizing a school for the future.
The Amery School District, by passage of a $7.9
million referendum, upgraded and modernized the computer technology and
communication systems for the entire district and expanded the high school
to accommodate future technology curriculum advances and student body growth.
As part of a design/build team, DSGW was involved
from the beginning pre-referendum phases though design and completion of
construction. A media center was designed for after hours public use as
well as a new technology lab which is the central core element of a technology
curriculum that includes agriculture, wood and metal shops, and art. Six
new classrooms, an additional science lab, locker rooms, wrestling and weight
rooms were also added.
