UMD - Kirby Plaza Renovation
Upgrading the information technology area
This 10,000 square foot remodel converted existing space into new facilities for the University of Minnesota Duluth’s (UMD) Information Technology Department.
This new area includes a complete lab, multimedia classrooms, study desks as well as technology equipment rental and stores. Materials such as translucent glass, brushed aluminum and ceramic tile were utilized to evoke the nature of electronic information. All of the new signage was integrated to conform to the UMD system requirements.
