Providing a recreation area for the entire family.
The Fond du Lac Band of Ojibwe built the Sawyer Community Center to provide gathering and recreational space for an outlying community. This facility provided a gymnasium, lockers, classroom, and elder's lounge with kitchen.

Completed in December 2005, was a 23,000 square foot addition which added a new gynasium with a wood floor and seating as well as: an expanded elderly dining and lounge facility, youth center, game room, exercise room, locker rooms, classrooms, computer labs and administration offices.
