DSGW worked with the Grand Portage Band of Ojibwe to create a Tribal Office Center that would reflect council member’s open relationship with the community. This was accomplished by orientating the offices around public spaces to encourage interaction between the community and tribal council members.

Situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Superior, the building replaced a smaller facility that had been outgrown. The new Tribal Office Center is now located on the same site to maximize existing dynamic views from the office and public spaces.
