The Spirit Mountain Grand Avenue Chalet, located at the base of the ski hill, offers spectacular views of the slopes during the winter, with lift-access for mountain biking in the summer and views of the St. Louis River.

This 10,650 sf building serves as a base for many operations — offering a full line of skier services in the winter such as lift tickets, rental equipment, retail sales and day lockers. The wood-frame chalet contains a large lounge area with a fireplace that doubles as an event center that also includes the Riverside Bar & Grill. These amenities allow the operation to run all year round.

The entrance to the chalet from the hillside is on-grade, so skiers don't have to navigate stairs in their boots.

The colorful composition of the concessions counter attracts families and is strategically placed for sightlines to the main area for added security.

The double-sided fireplace incorporates a sill seating area around its parameter with space to pull up chairs.

The main seating area doubles as an entertainment space, with high ceilings giving grand views up the hill.

The Riverside Bar/Restaurant has a separate entrance and restrooms and can be closed off for private events.

The SIP panel sloped roof not only provides a "lodgey" feel to the chalet, but also allows for snow to easily slide off.
